That freelance writers actually work. That it takes actual effort and thought and time. The same levels of effort, thought, and time that are required for all those “real” jobs that see people stuffing themselves into cars or trains or buses every morning.
In many cases it requires more.
Just because I don’t wear shoes on the job doesn’t mean I don’t have a job.
